Alex Noppel – Mexican/German film producer and director based in Berlin.

Master in Creative Documentary by UAB ) Autonomous University of Barcelona).

His first feature film as director “Victorio” won the best debut film at the Guanajuato International Film Festival GIFF 2008 and participated in the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana, Cuba, Santiago International Film Festival SANFIC 7, XXXI Mostra de Valencia and won the audience award at the International Festival FILME SOCIALAK Bilbao.

Founding member of Berlin C43 (Colectivo en acción por Ayotzinapa) with whom he produced 5 documentary pieces denouncing the serious human rights violations in Mexico as well as directing a short film for the film produced by Amnesty International “Ayotzinapa 26”.

He is currently producing “The whisper of a seed” a feature documentary in post-production about forced displacement in the southern border of Mexico directed by Gabriela Domínguez Ruvalcaba.

He is also producing a feature documentary about an indigenous Zapatista activist from the highlands of Chiapas in defense of traditional midwifery rights.

As director is working in “Beyond the Cup” a documentary series about the web of oppressions, violence, migration and abuse that exists behind a cup of coffee.

Outcomes:

Social Network Health's interactive training fostered an even more dynamic relationship network. Within these groups, vulnerable members can draw strength from adaptive members, leading to more changes in who they identify as valued connections.
Schools have reported significant improvements in various metrics, including increased daily attendance, higher graduation rates, enhanced identification of Trusted Adults, greater willingness to seek help, and improved connectedness among students and staff. Additionally, school disciplinary issues have notably declined, reflecting the program's positive impact on the school climate and student well-being.
