Her 53 years as an educator include keynotes & PD in over 2000 schools including 8 Indigenous Nation Districts. She is a journal reviewer for academic articles across various universities in Pakistan and a consultant in this regard. She has won numerous awards including People Magazine’s “Above & Beyond Award,” EMU’s “Distinguished Faculty Teaching Award,” “Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award,” and EMU’s “Alumni Teaching Excellence Award.” She is author of several books including, We’ve Gotta REACH ‘EM to TEACH ‘EM!
