He currently serves as Assistant Principal at North Middle School in Rapid City, where he works collaboratively with staff to support a student population of more than 400 students. His leadership focuses on building safe, structured learning environments, strengthening schoolwide behavior systems, and supporting high-quality instruction.

Jeremy holds an Education Specialist degree in K-12 Superintendency from the University of South Dakota and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from South Dakota State University, with specializations in both elementary and secondary leadership. His academic background, paired with extensive field experience, has prepared him to lead complex systems that support students, staff, and schools across diverse settings.

Throughout his career, Jeremy has prioritized proactive classroom management, strong Tier 1 PBIS foundations, and the development of clear, consistent systems that promote student connection, accountability, and success. He has led MTSS and PBIS implementation efforts, developed behavior intervention frameworks, and supported the expansion of Tier 2 and Tier 3 supports in both school and district roles. His work spans rural, reservation, and urban school communities, giving him a deep understanding of how to adapt systems to meet the unique needs of each setting.

As a former Superintendent and Special Education Director, Jeremy brings extensive experience in program oversight, compliance, and alignment of resources to student needs. He has successfully led peer mentoring initiatives, character education efforts, and behavior support systems designed to reduce office referrals, strengthen relationships, and improve school climate. His leadership is grounded in the belief that strong systems, implemented with fidelity and consistency, are essential to sustaining positive outcomes for students and educators.

Jeremy is actively involved in professional leadership at the state level. He currently serves on the South Dakota Association for Middle Level Education Board of Directors and has previously served on the South Dakota United School Administrators Executive Board and other statewide committees focused on instructional leadership and opportunity gaps. He was named the Region 5 High School Principal of the Year in 2017 and Region 5 Superintendent Rookie of the Year in 2020.

Jeremy’s work aligns closely with the mission of Networks of Support through a shared commitment to proactive behavior systems, relationship-driven practices, and building staff capacity to support all students. He believes that sustainable improvement occurs when educators are equipped with clear structures, practical strategies, and consistent support. Through collaboration, data-informed decision-making, and a focus on connection and accountability, Jeremy continues to advocate for systems that help schools create safe, supportive, and effective learning environments for every student.
