Hi, I am a Physical Education Teacher in Kimball, SD. I graduated from South Dakota State University in 2020. You’ll find me doing anything that involves my friends and family, hunting, golfing, or the outdoors. I love building relationships and challenging myself to grow while also learning with the students and peers we work with daily.

I believe that having a support system is vital to success at any age. Our support team has helped improve our positive energy and a safe and welcoming environment at Kimball schools. It’s also allowing the kids to get more movement in during the days we have our PRIME Time. Of course, I am going to be a fan of getting more movement in for students at school! I am so thankful to Networks of Support for introducing this program to us.

Our students and staff have loved the addition of PRIME Time into our school day. It all started the day Tim came and worked with us during in-service. The activities, discussions, and bonding experiences that we shared as a staff have set the ultimate foundation for success at our school.

We are so grateful for all the support and efforts that have come to us so far. Thank you!

Outcomes:

Groups became increasingly unified, exhibiting a shared commitment to healthy norms, and actively encouraged peers in help-seeking behaviors, fostering a supportive environment where every member feels valued and understood.
Social Network Health's interactive training fostered an even more dynamic relationship network. Within these groups, vulnerable members can draw strength from adaptive members, leading to more changes in who they identify as valued connections.
Schools have reported significant improvements in various metrics, including increased daily attendance, higher graduation rates, enhanced identification of Trusted Adults, greater willingness to seek help, and improved connectedness among students and staff. Additionally, school disciplinary issues have notably declined, reflecting the program's positive impact on the school climate and student well-being.
